Second CITIES Symposium

On November 20-21, 2022, CITIES hosted the 2nd CITIES Symposium, which provided a forum to learn and discuss some of these new ideas and how they could contribute to propelling our cities into a more prosperous and sustainable future. The symposium lasted two days and focused on research related to mobility, inequality, and misinformation. Speakers at the symposium included Profs. Monica Menendez, Juliana Freire, Constantinos Antoniou, Kinga Reka Makovi, Norman Garrick, Daniel T. O’Brien, Marton Karsai, Azza Abouzied, Preslav Nakov, Paolo Papotti, and Mohsen Mosleh. It was open to the NYUAD community and selected guests, and it was extremely successful in this respect, with more than 80 participants.

The agenda, abstract, and the speakers’ bios can be accessed on this link.
